The Dean of Students’ office is first and foremost concerned with students’ welfare right from the first day of entry into the polytechnic. The office endeavors to help each individual student to make appropriate mental, physical and emotional adjustment to polytechnic life.
The office therefore co-ordinates and offers most student welfare programmes and services in the polytechnic including but not limited to;
– Student Orientation Programmes
– Student accommodation and catering services
– Student elections
– Games and Sports Activities
– Clubs and Societies
– Student Entertainment
– Sensitization of Drugs and Substance Abuse
– Processing students application for loans and bursaries
– Guidance and counseling services
– Student leadership training and mentorship
– Promote respect for cultural diversity
